Our Story
The Ashley Mason story begins in 2005 with a small startup in Los Angeles founded by entrepreneur Ashley Mason. Ashley had a vision for a new kind of clothing company that focused on versatile, durable everyday pieces rather than fleeting fashion trends.
He began by designing a line of men’s pants and jeans constructed from premium denim with reinforced stitching and hardware that could stand up to real-world wear and tear. The fits were designed for both comfort and style – relaxed enough to move freely but tapered to look sharp.

Fabric Sourcing
We use only the most durable, highest-quality fabrics from around the world. Denim is selected from renowned Japanese and Italian mills. Cotton comes from long-staple Egyptian stock. Dyes are rich and colorfast. Each material is chosen for both aesthetics and performance.
Cut & Sew
Ashley Mason clothes are sewn to the highest standards either at our own Los Angeles factories or at select partner facilities. We oversee production end-to-end to control quality. Seams are stitched twice for reinforcement. Zippers, rivets, and buttons are securely affixed to withstand years of wear.
Wash & Finishing
Vintage-inspired washes and finishes give our clothes lived-in character and softness right off the rack. Jeans are hand sanded and broken-in. Jackets get custom distressing inspired by iconic mid-century gear. Each piece gets our signature “As Mason” labeling and hangtags.
Fit & Feel
